Press Release Body = The Fraser River Port Authority (the Port) has selected the
Intuit Real Estate Solutions' MRI Commercial property management software to improve
the control and management of its extensive real estate portfolio. Intuit Real
Estate Solutions, a division of Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) develops software for the
global real estate market. The new system was purchased from Lynx Systems Inc., the
Canadian business partner of Intuit. Lynx Systems will be responsible for system
implementation, training, and support for the new software.

The Port oversees a large and varied group of properties, including marine
terminals, waterlot tenures, and industrial properties. As the lead agency, the
Port works in conjunction with the nine municipalities that border the Fraser River
to co-ordinate harbour operations, developments and facilities. In total, its
jurisdiction encompasses 270 kilometres of shoreline along the Fraser River in
British Columbia, and over 480 hectares of land. It is the second largest port in
Canada.

"Our current system is unreliable and is not meeting our growing needs," says Joe
Zemp, Manager, IT for the Fraser River Port Authority. "We require software that
provides the additional flexibility and accessibility that a Web-based system would
offer."

The Port had some additional, specific requirements of its new system. The Port, for
example, uses terminology that is not standard within the real estate industry. It
manages many different lease or case types, such as log storage and barge moorage.
It must track whether or not a contract is a lease, license, or permit. It also
gathers extensive information on each agreement, including legal descriptions and
environmental audits and data, potentially differentiated by lease type. In
addition, the Port wants the system to generate a wide variety of lease clauses and
documents, and manage the approvals process for all of its agreements. Finally,
each parcel of land must be matched to its municipality, relevant tax roll numbers,
and physical area description in both hectares and acres.

"After extensive evaluation of many vendors it became clear that Intuit's MRI system
could meet most of our complex requirements without relying on the vendor for
support," claimed Zemp. "The flexibility of the Intuit MRI system and the
Application Toolkit will enable us to produce sophisticated custom reports,
integrate with our other applications, and gain the Web access that we need. In the
longer term, it will also allow us to add other modules such as Central Address Book
and Contact Management, or to easily develop future customized solutions ourselves,"
he added.

Zemp was also concerned about the reputation and the reliability of the company that
he was to partner with. "We feel that Lynx Systems will give us professional and
experienced support and training. We are confident that they can provide the
implementation support we want. In addition, Intuit offers us the backing of a
Fortune 500 company and extensive experience in the property management area," he
states.

"The Intuit MRI system with its Web-based functionality will allow us to provide
superior service to both our internal and external customers, ensuring that our
information is now both timely and accurate." Zemp concludes, "In the end, we chose
Intuit MRI because it best meets our requirements and can do so at a reasonable
cost. We feel confident that with Lynx Systems and Intuit, we will remain within
budget and on schedule."

"We understand that property managers have unique and varied requirements," comments
Don Robinson, President of Lynx Systems. "I believe that the flexibility of our
software to easily accommodate these client-specific needs is our key competitive
advantage."
